I am finishing the last of the pumpkin beer and binge-watching Top Gear season 22 with my family (btw, cat and dog in photo aren't really friends - that's a Christmas miracle there). What's Oppo up to?

I’m working night shift. 3:30pm till somewhere between midnight & 3:30am.
Doing general demo while waiting for change orders to be approved to start more Lead abatement & glovebagging on floor below do we can remove radiators from the wing we are working on.

Merry Christmas eve-eve now eve in the U.K.
Long day yesterday, now awake at 4am. Going for our yearly meet up drinks with a friend at 11am today (which as past events have shown will lead to excessive consumption of alcohol).

I’m full of Indian food tonight - had a beef vindaloo (a hot, tomato-based curry with potatoes) and baingan bharta (eggplant and veggies all kinda mashed up into a curry thing, also awesome). I’ve never had a vegetarian Indian dish before and this certainly will not be my last.
I’ve got a bunch of time off right now so I’ve been keeping busy with some entertaining stuff; a lot of Fallout 4 , going through the Rocky movies (I hadn’t seen anything after the first one up until recently) and reading The Fear: Robert Mugabe and the Martyrdom of Zimbabwe. I’m enjoying everything during a well-deserved break from work.

Ouch. I hate those long days. They wanted me to work last night. I simply replied “are you high?”, laughed and walked away.
Go on, get yourself off up the wooden hills to Bedfordshire. Sleep well.

Depressed my car was ready to be picked up today but no one in my family was willing to take me across town so I have to wait until Monday for a car I’ve been waiting literally years to drive.
Also the 25th is my birthday and I never really get what I want. I just want a beer. And my car. And my dogs. My big fuzzies have been sent away for the holiday because my bother can’t handle them and they don’t trust, er just bark at my aunt who decides to come last minute every year.
I hope I get to watch plenty of Top Gear tomorrow. With beer

Thanks you finally getting around to that. Just thinking about the car makes me want to grip the middle of the Christmas tree and toss it over, n drop kick all the gifts into the fireplace. Oh well I’ll gets mine. Luv you fuzzies

Bright side, at least everyone with Christmas Crazies can't damage it today? I had to drive a friend to the airport this morning and refuse to go out in a vehicle again. Just not worth it. I'm actually more worried for my car parked on the road now than I was when we had ten inches of snow for the maniacs to slide in.
